
Bensaude Hotels Collection will inaugurate the new infrastructure and present Parque Terra Nostra’s new image on June 1st at 5:45 p.m., at an event attended by the President of the Government of the Azores, José Manuel Bolieiro, the Mayor of Povoação, Pedro Melo, and the Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bensaude Group, António Castro Freire.
According to the press release, this initiative marks a “new phase in the life of Terra Nostra Park focused on its sustainable development and improving the visitor experience.” The various presentations will accompany visits to the new infrastructure, including changing rooms, ticket offices, exhibition space, store access, and night-time scenic lighting.
Terra Nostra Park is located in the heart of the Furnas Valley, one of the largest hydropoles in the world. It is recognized globally for its thermal pool, fed by a volcanic water spring at around 42ºC, and for the vast botanical heritage featured on its 12.5 hectares, where you’ll find one of the world’s most remarkable collections of camellias, with over 800 specimens.
