
The launch of the contract to adapt the old health center building into a home for the elderly at Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Santa Cruz da Graciosa, Azores, will provide a further support service for the elderly in the municipality of Santa Cruz da Graciosa, with the capacity for 14 users.
With a total investment of €968,658.00, and implemented by the Regional Secretariat for Health and Social Security through the Regional Directorate for Social Solidarity, the Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Santa Cruz da Graciosa launched the public tender for the Contract to Adapt the former Health Center Building into a Home for the Elderly of the Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Santa Cruz da Graciosa with a base price of €752,786.86 plus VAT.
The Regional Government of the Azores intends, says Mónica Seidi, “to continue implementing quality social responses and support for all Azorean citizens.”
The Secretary for Health and Social Security continues, “This initiative reflects the Regional Government’s investment in reinforcing vacancies in ERPIS, responding to waiting lists in this social response, always working to achieve an installed capacity that is more appropriate to the needs of the population.”
This investment is financed by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR) funds. The public contract was published in the Official Journal of the Autonomous Region of the Azores, II SERIES—No. 105, with Announcement No. 206/2024 of June 3, 2024. The contract has an execution period of 360 days.
