Julia Van Scyoc represents the City of Tulare and the Tulare-Angra Sister City Foundation at the annual Sanjoanians Festival, a 10-day event celebrated annually in June. The celebrations involve an amalgam of traditions and innovations and every year, Angra’s sister cities are invited to send a “DAMA” to be part of the Royal Court. For over a decade, Tulare has had a representative coordinated by the Tulare-Angra Sister City Foundation.

Julia represented Tulare (Angra’s oldest sister city program) in the Opening ceremonies and will be part of several events throughout the Festas.
