Josh Pedrozo, a Portuguese-American supervisor with roots in the Azores, will become Chairman of a National Association.

Congratulations to Supervisor Josh Pedrozo, who was selected to serve as Chairman of the National Association of Counties’ Agriculture and Rural Affairs Policy Steering Committee.

“Agriculture is the driving force of our local economy,” Pedrozo said. “In this role, I look forward to continued advancement of initiatives and programs that both protect and strengthen this vitally-important industry.”

Merced County Board of Supervisors members are widely represented on several local, state, and national committees and organizations. This helps to foster a political and regulatory environment that benefits our region and residents.
