The Regional Secretariat for Health and Social Security informs that the payment of the Azorean Supplement to the Family Allowance for Children and Young People (CAAF) will be made next Monday, via bank transfer, and by August 8th, as far as CTT is concerned.
With the publication of the Regional Budget on July 10, there will be a 10% increase for all levels of CAAF beneficiaries.
More than 30,200 beneficiaries will be covered by this measure, which corresponds to a total value of 1.5 million euros.
The CAAF is a cash increase granted to Family Allowance holders living in the Azores, intending to ensure compensation for family expenses relating to the upkeep and education of children and young people.
Although CAAF holders are children or young people, the recipients can be parents, guardians, or institutions.
Finally, it should be remembered that this supplement is paid every six months and is processed twice a year.
