In the second quarter of 2024, the Autonomous Region of the Azores saw an increase in the average house price, with the total value of transactions reaching 95 million euros, representing 1.2% of the national total. The number of transactions also maintained its 1.6% share of the national total, with 599 homes sold between April and June 2024.
According to data from the National Statistics Institute, the Azores are among the four regions that showed growth above the national average in the number and value of housing transactions compared to the same period in 2023.

In the second half of 2024, house prices rose by 7.8% nationally (throughout all of mainland Portugal and the Autonomous Regions), and the number of transactions increased by 10.4%.
