The parliamentarians for the political parties of the ruling coalition government in the Azores, meeting on the island of Flores yesterday, highlighted the improvement in health care on the island. They underscored that all users now have a family doctor and the recent acquisition of new equipment for the local health center.
In a statement, the parties that support the Regional Government (PSD/CDS-PP/PPM) say that, despite the adverse weather conditions that conditioned the parliamentary days, several visits to local entities were possible, which allowed the Regional Assembly members to “deepen their knowledge of the main problems affecting the Florentine population and reinforce their commitment to act in the areas that require greater attention and intervention.”
The Coalition also highlighted the repair of the damaged crane on the ship Margarethe. “This is an effort that we recognize and value and which now guarantees the continuity of its regular activity.”
