StartUp Angra, a locally based business incubator in the municipality of Angra do Heroísmo, is promoting the “FastStart Angra” business acceleration program between the 8th and 10th of this month. The program includes training, mentoring, and monitoring of projects and business ideas.
The program is aimed at entrepreneurs who want to develop business ideas, startups, companies still at an early stage, and companies already established in the market who want to acquire new knowledge. Its main objective is to provide leverage for businesses or business ideas and provide entrepreneurs with resources to accelerate their growth in a sustainable way.
The program consists of workshops on the following topics: “Communication, marketing and innovation” (October 8th), “Business organization and corporate finance” (October 9th), and “Pitch trainning and investment” (October 10th).
The workshops will be followed by mentoring sessions with experts in the field.
Professionals from the human resources, marketing, finance, business management, and investment sectors will offer mentoring.
The role of the mentors will be to act dynamically, questioning, guiding, and advising the entrepreneur while sharing their experiences and knowledge. They can suggest improvements that will enhance the business and give the entrepreneurs tips for improvement.

There will be activities to integrate the participating groups and teams, networking, talks with guests, and a space for the entrepreneurs to work on their projects.
The program ends with a pitch training session where the entrepreneurs will learn how to present a pitch.
This project will allow participants to receive training and mentoring from experts in the field at regional and national levels, enriching and adapting their projects
to reality and enabling the sustainable development of the local business fabric.
The “FastStart Angra” business acceleration program occurs at StartUp Angra’s headquarters on Rua do Marquês in Angra do Heroísmo.
The program is complete, and registration is available on the incubator’s website at http://www.startupangra.com.
StartUp Angra celebrated its seventh anniversary last July.
