
The 6th edition of Taste Azores follows on from the “success of previous editions and aims to continue the strategy of increasing consumption of Azorean products among national consumers, in a space where more than 70,000 people spend an average day,” said the Regional Secretary for Agriculture and Food, António Ventura, quoted in a press release.
He added that Taste Azores includes various promotional activities, “boosting the presence and visibility of the companies that are members of the Azores Brand, which also have their own brand activation space at their disposal.”
Taste Azores has the direct participation of 20 regional companies from different sectors of activity, namely Adolfo Mendonça Atelier, Ourivesaria Teles, Boa Fruta, Centro Social e Cultural da Atalhada, Cooperativa de Artesanato de Santa Maria, Cooperativa Leite Montanha, Garcez & Santos, Restaurante Espaço Açores, Insulac, Lactaçores, Marta Tomé & Filhas, Natur Froyo, Pastelaria O Forno, Plantações Chá Gorreana, Promineral, Pronicol, Queijo Vaquinha; MPD – Bensaude Distribuição, Salsicharia Ideal and Sociedade Conserveira Açoriana.
Two institutional partners, Turismo dos Açores and Centro de Artesanato e Design dos Açores, are also participating in the Azores in a Box project.
