
The Judicial Police (PJ), through the Azores Criminal Investigation Department, arrested a 36-year-old man in the act of committing the crime of drug trafficking in Terceira.
In a statement, the PJ said that the arrest took place as part of a police operation carried out in Praia da Vitória, which led to “the seizure of 14,700 individual doses of hashish and 2,500 of cocaine, which were in the suspect’s possession”.
According to the PJ, “the detainee will be presented for first judicial interrogation, for the application of the appropriate coercive measures.”
