The Thermal Tank at Terra Nostra Park in Furnas reopened yesterday. It was renovated after works to enhance the surroundings, the water recirculation system, and the coverings, with the aim of providing an even more enriching thermal experience for visitors.
The renovation of the space was based on the historical importance of the Terra Nostra Park, taking into account its natural beauty, the environment, and its tourist interest.
The interior of the Tank was also the target of intervention, with a new covering designed to optimize users’ comfort and well-being. To improve the visitor experience, four new spouts were added to the two previously existing ones.
The modernization also included a maintenance system that forced recirculation of the entire volume of thermal water to promote more efficient and sustainable management without altering the waters’ idiosyncrasies.
The reopening of the Thermal Tank was scheduled for yesterday, when tickets became available again, also online, at http://www.parqueterranostra.com/pt/bilhetica/. It marks a new phase in which tradition is combined with modernization in harmony with the high standards of natural preservation of the Terra Nostra Park.
