The Municipality of Praia da Vitória is organizing the III Handicraft and Entrepreneurship Fair from April 30 to May 4, highlighting the municipality’s female artisans. This event will coincide with Mother’s Day, celebrated on May 4. The event, held at the Terceira Island Youth and Arts Academy (AJAIT), features a craft fair, workshops, lectures, children’s entertainment, and musical concerts.
“This event, created in 2023, celebrates local crafts, with a special focus on several women who dedicate part of their time to the artisanal production of various products. In this way, we intend not only to honor them, but also to mark Mother’s Day, which is celebrated on May 4. This year, we have more than twenty stands of local artisans. It will undoubtedly be another moment of sharing, entertainment, and enormous celebration of the mothers and women of this municipality,” emphasizes Paula Sousa, Councilor of the Municipality of Praia da Vitória.
