By midday on Saturday, May 10, 28 incidents due to adverse weather conditions had been reported in the Autonomous Region of Madeira. The situations involved 62 personnel and 28 land vehicles in a coordinated response to flooding, landslides, and dangerous conditions.

Of the total incidents, the following stand out:

17 floods, 7 mass movements, and 4 situations involving signaling or identification of hazards.

The most affected municipalities were: Ribeira Brava (15 incidents), Santa Cruz (5), Funchal (4), Câmara de Lobos (2), Ponta do Sol (1), Machico (1).

All situations were promptly resolved at the municipal level, with no reports of casualties or serious damage.

Road traffic also suffered some disruptions. The Via Expresso 4, between Serra de Água and Ribeira Brava, has already been reopened, albeit with restrictions. The Estrada da Achada do Marquês remains closed in the parish of Ilha, municipality of Santana.
