Entities such as Google, MEO Empresas, and Igniteers will be on Terceira Island for the StartUp Angra 4.0: Technological Innovation – Trends, Productivity and Security initiative, which will take place in Angra do Heroísmo on June 5 and 6.
It’s being organized by the Angra do Heroísmo municipality’s local business incubator, StartUp.
We will cover topics such as Google tools, artificial intelligence, business innovation, and cybersecurity.
The program includes talks on the following topics: “Productivity with Google tools”; “Artificial Intelligence: Challenges, Opportunities and Solutions”; “Artificial Intelligence in your Business”; “Cybersecurity”; and “Innovating where you least expect it.” Google Portugal will give a practical workshop to close the event.
The event will take place at StartUp Angra’s premises. Participation is free, but registration is compulsory, and it is available on the business incubator’s website: www.startupangra.com.

“This is a highly relevant event for the entrepreneurial ecosystem on Terceira island, and an excellent opportunity for local entrepreneurs to keep up to date with global trends, acquire cutting-edge digital skills and boost their projects with the support of internationally renowned experts,” says a note sent to DI by the organization.
The text adds that it will be an opportunity “to access fundamental tools for digitization, innovation and business development, with the presence of internationally renowned entities from outside the region, such as Google.”
The program includes lectures, workshops, and presentations of case studies.
For Guido Teles, Deputy Mayor of Angra do Heroísmo, the StartUp Angra 4.0 event is “a strategic investment in training our entrepreneurs. By bringing in experts and national and international reference bodies, we are creating bridges to the future, promoting digital transformation and the competitiveness of our local companies.”
