According to a press release, Startup Faial will be equipped with the necessary resources for its operation, including space for 60 workstations and 40 dedicated coworking and training areas.

The implementation project, in addition to the appropriate restoration of the building, “enshrines a very significant commitment to energy efficiency, compliance with horizontal principles, and the provision of modern technological infrastructure,” according to the press release.

With an investment of over €869,000, of which up to €400,000 will be co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through the Azores 2030 program, Startup Faial represents a strategic tool for the municipality of Horta, promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, and economic diversification.
