The leader of the PS Azores, Francisco César, reaffirmed his commitment to renewing and revitalizing the Socialist Party, launching a new phase of openness to society, active listening, and building an alternative project for the Azores. “The Socialist Party needs to renew itself and attract more people. We will soon hold elections for local structures and move forward with the States General of the Socialist Party to bring in more people and build, in partnership with independent figures, a modern and mobilizing project for the Azores,“ he said. ”We want to bring in independent people with ideas and a willingness to work so that we can build a doctrine and an alternative project in each of these areas.

The design is already done, and the process will be set in motion in the coming weeks,” he revealed. Francisco César, who was speaking on the sidelines of the Regional Commission held last Saturday in Angra do Heroísmo, pointed out that the PS Azores is now entering a period of political stability and programmatic construction, after an intense electoral cycle that confirmed the PS as the most voted force in the region in the last municipal elections. “Despite everything, we have once again managed to be the most voted political force and maintain the PS as the major political alternative in the Azores. Now is the time to forge our path, with serenity, ambition, and a renewed sense of responsibility.”

In closing, Francisco César concluded by emphasizing that the PS Azores is entering a new phase of work and mobilization, with three years of political stability ahead: “The Socialist Party is available, mobilized, and ready to work for a better future for the Azores,” said the socialist, demonstrating, once again, his willingness to ensure political stability in the region.
