The “Trilho das Águas” (Water Trail), promoted by the São Roque do Pico Municipal Council, took place on November 8, bringing together dozens of participants who ventured on a medium-difficulty trail of about 12 kilometers.

On a day marked by excellent weather, the group traveled through areas of great natural beauty, including green hills, peat-bog paths, and impressive views of the Pico-São Jorge Channel and Pico Mountain.

The hike offered moments of conviviality, discovery, and contact with nature, reinforcing the growing interest in hiking trails as a way to enhance the municipality’s natural and landscape heritage.

The São Roque do Pico City Council thanks all participants for their participation and enthusiasm and remains committed to promoting initiatives that encourage active and sustainable tourism in the territory.
