In October, the municipality of Lajes das Flores implemented the “ATL Clubs,” a new initiative aimed at strengthening local ATL activities and opening up the program to the entire community.

The initiative involves several animators and covers different areas considered relevant to personal, cultural, and social development, namely the Sports Club, dedicated to promoting physical activity; the Music Club, the Painting Club, the Coralitos Club, and the Repercutir Club, focused on developing musical and artistic expression and creativity; the Peace Club and the Emotions Club, focused on well-being, emotional education, and promoting children’s mental health.

The clubs’ programs are reviewed monthly with the aim of continuously improving their operation and adjusting activities to the needs and interests of participants.

With this initiative, the Municipality of Lajes das Flores seeks to enhance the ATL space, making it more dynamic and expanding its connection to the community, fostering regular learning and participation opportunities for children and young people in the municipality.

The Municipality thanks all the ATL animators and staff for their commitment and for accepting the challenges proposed, contributing to the success of this initiative.
