Paula Sousa, councilwoman for the Praia da Vitória City Council, was present on Tuesday, the 25th, at the celebrations for Cabo da Praia Parish Day, which took place at Casa do Povo, also marking the parish’s 555th anniversary.
On the occasion, the councilor emphasized that “the parish plays an important role in promoting our history, sharing knowledge and customs, and maintaining the foundations that sustain us in terms of development and social cohesion,” congratulating it on the commemorative date.

“This parish plays a strategic role in boosting the city, thanks to the services it provides in Praia da Vitória. We know that this statement is the result of a joint effort and that it will only have the desired impact through the union of efforts to that end. The path is one of unity, and only then does it make sense, so you can count on the local authority to make this happen,” she concluded.
The Cabo da Praia Parish Council promoted the “Onda Cultural” (Cultural Wave) over three days, featuring various community-focused events.
