The Government will appoint Tiago Santos, current CFO of the SATA Group, to the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of SATA Holding.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of SATA Holding, Rui Coutinho, has submitted his resignation, effective January 1, 2026, citing professional reasons.

To ensure the continuity and stability of ongoing processes, the Government will appoint Tiago Santos, currently Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the SATA Group, to the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of SATA Holding.

The appointment of Tiago Santos aims to ensure the rigorous pursuit of the measures set out in the Restructuring Plan, namely the sale of Azores Airlines and Handling, as well as the consolidation of the progress already achieved in the recovery process of the SATA Group companies.
