Christmas Magic Unites Generations in a Unique Performance on the Mountain Island

From ages 3 to 94, more than a hundred voices resonated through the Auditório da Madalena. In total, four choral groups took to one of the Azores’ largest stages for a grand performance that culminated in a joint finale, delighting everyone in attendance.

The Madalena Auditorium hosted the concert “Christmas and Musical Enchantment.”

Under the baton of Nuno Pereira, around 150 performers from the Choir of the Center for Artistic Training, the Madalena Choir, the Choir of the Municipality’s Social Centers, and the Senior University Choir—accompanied by the CFA Wind Orchestra—interpreted a diverse repertoire inspired by the Christmas season, celebrating the true spirit of the holidays and the ideal of universal fraternity.

Integrated into the Municipality’s extensive Christmas cultural program, this initiative stands as yet another expression of the Município da Madalena’s commitment to fostering cultural vitality within the municipality and across Ilha do Pico, affirming music as a bridge between generations and a shared language of celebration.
