The Auditorium of the Cultural Center of Santa Cruz das Flores hosted the city’s New Year’s Concert on the evening of January 11, in an atmosphere marked by celebration and cultural exchange. The event was promoted by the Câmara Municipal de Santa Cruz das Flores.

The concert featured a performance by the Filarmónica União Operária e Cultural de Nossa Senhora dos Remédios – Fajãzinha, offering an evening of music that underscored the vitality of local culture. The band’s performance underscored its fundamental role in training young musicians and its broader importance as a cultural force within the community.

Also held during the event was the final drawing of the Christmas Campaign raffle, organized by the Câmara do Comércio e Indústria da Horta, in partnership with the Câmara Municipal de Santa Cruz das Flores.

The evening brought together music, community, and civic engagement, marking the start of the new year with a shared celebration of local talent and cultural life.
