MAKING A DIFFERENCE
For Guido Teles, the Vice-Mayor of Angra do Heroísmo, this fifth edition of Startup Angra’s training plan is “one of the most important initiatives promoted by our locally based business incubator.”
“It is largely in this formative aspect that business incubators can make a difference in supporting the emergence of new business projects,” he said.
The mayor revealed his intention to continue with the program and try to respond to the main training gaps identified by entrepreneurs.
For further information, interested parties can contact the business incubator.
StartUp Angra says it can be present throughout the creation of a company, “from the generation of the idea to its implementation.”
The organization’s website states, “We don’t rule out supporting any entrepreneurial project.” It promises “skills in management, creativity, financing, identifying opportunities, and business ideas.”

StartUp Angra, the local incubator run by the Municipality of Angra do Heroísmo, in collaboration with the Angra do Heroísmo Chamber of Commerce, is organizing a training plan aimed at local entrepreneurs – the organization said yesterday.
The training plan includes six courses and is organized into two main areas, management, and communication, each with three different classes.
The training courses cover sales and negotiation techniques, company management and organization, VAT and invoicing, artificial intelligence for business, a marketing plan, and website building.
The training courses start in April, in person at StartUp Angra’s headquarters, during after-work hours, and last fifteen hours each.
Those interested can sign up for all the courses or the ones they are most interested in. All the training courses are held in person at StartUp Angra’s headquarters, and the entire training program and registration are available on the incubator’s website at http://www.startupangra.com.
