The Câmara Municipal de São Roque do Pico, in partnership with the Associação Cultural de São Roque do Pico, has officially unveiled the lineup and part of the programming for the Festival Cais Agosto 2026, one of the most anticipated summer events on Pico Island.
Scheduled to take place between July 29 and August 2 in São Roque do Pico, the festival once again promises five days of music, entertainment, and cultural activity, reaffirming its place as one of the leading summer celebrations in the municipality.
This year’s program brings together artists from a variety of musical genres, blending Portuguese contemporary music, electronic performances, local traditions, and live entertainment aimed at both residents and visitors.
The festival opens on Wednesday with performances by DJ Luci and Overule accompanied by MC performances. Thursday’s lineup features Arkê, Dillaz, and Diego Miranda, along with DJ Gil.
Friday’s program shifts toward a blend of local and nationally recognized acts, with performances by Virá Lomba and Delfins, while DJs R-Rewind and Dans continue the late-night entertainment.
On Saturday, festivalgoers will see performances by The Super Mars and Vítor Kley, followed by sets from DJs Kevu and APHX.
The festival concludes on Sunday with a performance by the Orquestra Ligeira de São Roque do Pico, before a final closing set by DJ Rui Z.

Beyond the concert schedule, the Festival Cais Agosto 2026 continues to emphasize a broader cultural experience that integrates music, local traditions, street entertainment, and community participation. Organizers say the event will once again include recreational and cultural initiatives featuring local groups, traditional activities, and complementary programming designed to reinforce the identity of the municipality while contributing to the island’s summer tourism economy.
Over the years, the festival has evolved into more than a concert series. Positioned against the Atlantic backdrop of São Roque do Pico, Cais Agosto has become a seasonal gathering point where contemporary entertainment and island culture intersect — drawing emigrants returning for the summer, tourists exploring the Azores, and local communities seeking a shared celebration of music and place.
